Heatwave

Have you guys been at the mercy of the heatwave recently???? well, i am...for a start, i have been perspiring non-stop...yes, even when i'm seated down in an air-condition place...but having said that, i still prefer these sunny, hot hot days to those late evening downpours...coz then i can bring the kiddos to the playground or go for long walks after work :)

So mummies, pls remember to load your family with barley water, green bean soup and vitamin C this period.

My darling gal will be turning 1 next month and she is cruising and babbling away...we hear her having a vocal match with her brother everyday...and it's getting chaotic at home now with her everywhere and we are constantly making sure that her kor kor doesn't step on her...LOL :)

My favourite food now is Yayuk's Chicken Congee with fermented beancurd and canned fish and black bean dice....is this screaming unhealthy??? i introduced this dish to Qi over the weekend and she loves it too, esp with heaps of fermented beancurd...LOL

We are going to have it for dinner tonight again :)

Morning Express

Ok, so hub has decided...Damien is going to continue his half-day childcare @ Star Learners...he decided after our meet-up with his teacher and principal last sat...As parents, our main concern is his health over his academic achievements, esp so when he is still so young...so this time round, we are praying hard as he is enjoying school so much (p/s: 2 days ago he brought my h/p to school and just yesterday, he sneaked his chou chou to school...lol).
I will be taking leave again coz i'm going to follow Damien's on his school excursion to the Jurong Bird Park on the 28/April...yeah!!! (can imagine Chris rolling her eyes at me...whahahahahaha).

So should i bring Debbie to pierce her ears? i wanted to but the thought of her in pain breaks my heart...so should i?

It's Thursday, 1 more day to the weekend...yipeeeee!

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

I apologised if i'm always gushing over my babies...but i'm bursting with pride and i want to share it with the whole world....i was just talking to Glenda the other day and we are exchanging little tibits of info on our two terrors...i was telling her that Damien is talking only in 1 syllabus now...and 2 days later,i heard him singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star...and with sign language too...he learned it from Barney who was singing to the hearing impaired children from telly...he totally caught me by surprised...and my oh my, was i dumbfounded :)

Dilemma

I'm confused...not too sure whether to let Damien continue with Star Learners or switch him over to The Little Skool House @ Orchid Country Club...mum is for the motion to switch him over and honestly, i quite like their flexi hours pre-school programmes for toddlers...it's mon-fri, 1-4pm...perfect timing for my darling :)

Anyway, we will be seeing Damien's principal this sat and at the same time, we will be popping by OCC to check it out...i will throw this ball over to hub and get him make a decision then :O
