Fish & Co. @ Great World City

Met up with the gals for lunch this afternoon at Fish & Co. to celebrate Nicole's birthday...Happy B'day Nic!

After a heavy lunch, i went shopping AGAIN...oh my...i'm fast running out of $$$ liao...i spent like an hour at Mothers Work browsing and selecting a few stuffs for my precious...then i'm off to FOX bb, getting them some clothes too...aiyo aiyo...luckily, hub is outstation and will be back only tomorrow...he is def going to scream at me this time liao...wait a min...he's going to read this when he read my blog...hehehe...hub, pls dun nag at me okie...this is going to be my last shopping spree for awhile okie :p

Ramen Girl

Hub wanted to date me out before i pop...so we decided to go to the movies today...a movie of my choice...so i chose "The Ramen Girl"...a bad choice...not only is the movie bland but it's also draggy...worse still, it made me crave for ramen after that :( ...The only consolation is that i have my hub undivided attention...hehehe....very mushy right...

Besides going for a movie, my hub also brought me go eat dim sum and laksa...on a healthier note, i did a 30mins swim with the children in the afternoon la...ok la, not swim but soak in the pool...hahahaha...so i'm totally beat now...going to bed liao...gdnitz

Updates

Damien's wound is almost healed...i didn't know that this medicated oilment, Zam-Buk, is so effective for bruises and abrasions...thanks to Pamela :)

Just got back from the supermarket with 3 cans of Enfagrow Stage 3...My boy is officially on it now...how time flies!..these few days, my MIL and I have been catching him standing on his own...i think it will be soon that he will be walking...since my MIL arrival last week, i have been taking a back seat and letting her and yayuk run the show...she is more "xi xin" than me loh when it comes to caring for little Damien...she very effort leh...preparing yummy and nutritious porridge for him and she has been feeding him heaps of veggies and fruits too...all along, i thought that my son doesn't like vegs and fruits...hehehe...i think it's that he doesn't like how i prepared it la...he can whack half an apple now and also finished up a bunch of broccoli...hehehe :)

I have also been making trips to the library...Been borrowing books from the series "Snuggletime" for Damien...he loves it loh...for myself, i am currently reading "The Breastfeeding Book" from Sears and Sears...Michelle effortly brought it over for me the other day...it's a great book...i hope to finish before i deliver next week...

Heartpain

Today, Damien fell from his bike when i brought him out for a stroll...he landed on his left on the gravel pathway and suffered minor abrasion on his forehead and cheek...my heart nearly stopped when i see his bike toppled over...hubby was with me when it happened...he quickly scooped him up and comfort him...to our surprise, he didn't actually kick up a big fuss and wail over it...i think it was me rather...i'm all in a fluster and nearly cried...

We brought him home and have his wound cleaned and dressed...hope he get well soon...my MIL told me that with him being so active, it's an accident waiting to happen...and she is expecting more "baluku" on him...so she told me to be more "zai" and not a little bit, a little bit get so gancheong and paranoid...i actually want to bring him to the doc liao....hehehehe...i heartpain mah...Damien's is my n0#1 you know...

i also learned from today's episode to have antiseptic wipes, band-aids and Zam-buk ready at home...esp so when u have children...

P/S: Hubby managed to get the furniture corner cushions (brand: Safety 1st) from Home-Fix today and he got all our sharp furniture edges covered...and you know what my boy did?....he was at it the whole afternoon to see if he can get it off...*faintzzzz*

This is it!...the day has been set for my C-Sec...i will get to see my darling gal on the 14/May/2009...hmmmm...i'm getting all excited and nervous as the anticipation builds up and as the day draws nearer...saw dr.koh this morning and bb is 2.76kgs now...another 2more weeks to go...hope bb will hit the 3kgs mark...

Nowadays, sleep seems to elude me...it's so so hard to get a goodnite sleep and i'm getting all exhausted easily...like today, i'm so drained that i do not even have the energy to dodge when Damien tried to grab my specs...thank god, i have got everything all prepared for the arrival of bb in the last few weeks...i cannot imagine going for long shopping spree scouting for bb essentials at this time...I will be picking my MIL up from the airport tmr...with the extra help from my MIL, guessed i will just put my feet up and R&R now...hehehe :p

My hubby is also all geared up towards D-Day...he is actually rostered for a 9Days Dubai-Istanbul flt before his leave on the 11/May....but fearing that his bb might come early and him missing out on all the action, he actually gave away this long flt (p/s: I have been feeding him on stories like how the water bag will suddenly burst and all those labour pains..blah! blah! blah!) ...it doesn't sit too well with him not seeing his bb coming into this world...hahaha...so there goes his flight allowance...$$$...hehehe...nvr la...$$$ can earn back ma...it's good to have him around this period too :)

My darling elder sis has been busing shopping for her nephews and niece too...she bought so much stuff for them on her trip to London...btw, my younger sis is expecting a bb boy in sept too :p - Going thru the goodies at my place with my kaypoh son looking on....
